Mexico City, May 13 (xinhua)Mexican economy minister graciela marquez announced Thursday that from May. 18, Mexico will resume work and production in various fields under the premise of ensuring security.

Marquez said at a news conference held at the national palace in the capital Mexico City that the recovery plan is divided into three stages.In the first phase, the 269 city-level administrative units with few or no confirmed covid-19 cases will start preparations from May. 14 to ensure the resumption of social and economic activities from June 18.In the second stage, construction, mining and other industries can resume work and production in succession during the 31st day of this month.In the third stage, starting from June 1, all regions will be divided into four levels according to the risk of the epidemic: red, orange, yellow and green, gradually opening public space and resuming teaching activities.

Mexican President leopoldo lopez said the federal government would not mandate the measures, and states could choose to follow a federal plan or develop their own recovery plans, depending on the risk of the disease.
