More than 100,000 tulips were chopped up at a park in Japan's chiba prefecture on April 22, 2020 to prevent crowds from gathering to admire the flowers.A 77-year-old grandmother came to the park and was dismayed to see that the flower beds were empty.The cut flowers have been donated to a nearby kindergarten.
