"I was really shocked.Oh my god! It's incredible. I'm so grateful."The man said it was a sum of money to comfort people after the fire.
"At the beginning of the year, wildfires raged throughout our region.I personally didn't lose my home, but the houses around us were destroyed and we were evacuated to the beach. This town has gone red and black. It's horrible."
When asked how he planned to spend the money, he said he would surprise his wife."I can take my wife on a really nice vacation.Interestingly, we're still talking about traveling to Europe these days."
