• The design of the torch for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games was unveiled at an event marking the one-year countdown to the Beijing Winter Olympic Games at the National Aquatics Center in Beijing, Feb 4, 2018.

The Beijing Winter Olympic Torch looks very dynamic and energetic. The colors are silver and red, symbolizing "Fire and ice meet, passion flying, illuminating the snow and ice, warming the world".The torch for the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympic Games is made of silver and gold, symbolizing glory and dream, and reflecting the Paralympic values of "courage, determination, inspiration and equality." The bottom circle of the torch is inscribed with the full name of the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympic Games in Braille.
